As with all tragedies, the period of mourning varies greatly by length and depth from person to person. But while some move on with their lives and continue their jobs with little interruption, others are nearly paralyzed by the losses they have felt at the hands of their enemies.
From each tragedy, there has to come a new beginning though. And in the hope of establishing new and strengthening existing bonds, a conference of treaties was held in the capital city of Elysi. But for all of the hope and weight placed on this event, there lay years of resentment and hatred toiling just under the surface ready to burst through with vengeance and flame. Where the leaders of these countries fair will take their people and deliver them will depend entirely on their strength of will and the backbone of their armies.
The future is chaos and it will be met with fury.
And suddenly, life made sense.

Lemme reblog again and let you know why casting that white woman as the female lead in “Drive” was so fucking wrong and fucked up.
Director Nicolas Winding Refn literally gave Carey Mulligan the part because she “seemed pure,” like someone he wanted to protect.
No, really. He literally said that shit.
These traits were ones he literally did not consider a Latina for. He picked her specifically because he fit that damsel in distress imagine that’s been coded as white. Latinas were not even given the opportunity to audition for the role.
I wish they’d cast a black girl for Sue Storm too not just Johnny :\
kind of wish they’d cast Lupita
EVERYONE, MEAN GIRLS’ 10TH ANNIVERSARY IS TOMORROW, APRIL 30TH. A WEDNESDAY. WEAR PINK OR SUFFER DISGRACE.
on wednesdays we wear pink.
Just look at her now though.
In the first movie, she was white as a sheet, with fake colours, hair and emotions.
She looks more natural in the second movie because Katniss and Peeta inspired her, and she felt close to them. Now that they’re being ripped away from her, she doesn’t love the Capitol enough to smile.
She’s burning with fear and anger and sorrow.
now this is what i call minor character development at it’s finest
I LITERALLY CANNOT JUST SCROLL PAST THIS POST IT’S PROBABLY THE TENTH TIME I’VE REBLOGGED IT TODAY NO JOKE
this is why effie is my favorite
you even get the sense that she’s growing in the books and by the end of them she’s resisting the capitol just as much as katniss or peeta, just in her own way
she’s so dang cute and bubbly
